At the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center, children of all ages, ethnicities and economic backgrounds are exposed to the highest level of arts training. Whether their talents or interests exist in acting, dancing, singing or playing musical instruments, their involvement in the arts will give them a sense of accomplishment, self-worth and confidence—and research demonstrates that involvement in the arts promotes improved academic performance and social development.
