Chad Tessmer, Executive Director

Chad joined MYAC as Executive Director in 2022 after a decade of service to the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center (JCC).  Serving as the JCC's Chief Marketing Officer, Chad was responsible for the brand advancement of the organization's six multi-disciplinary sites across the state of Wisconsin.  He provided executive leadership to marketing, communications, special events, membership, and strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining the JCC, Chad served as Vice President and Director of Client & Community Relations for PNC in Wisconsin.  Charged with introducing the brand to the local community, Chad served on the senior leadership team and was directly responsible for the market's philanthropic, sponsorship, and community affairs portfolios.  Over his career at PNC and its predecessor companies, Chad provided leadership in Corporate Marketing, Regional Operations, and Retail Banking.

A product of equitable access to the performing arts, Chad was born and raised in Milwaukee.  He studied theater at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and was a young playwright at Hamline University (Playwright's Center.) Chad previously served on the Board of Directors for Milwaukee Film and First Stage, was a Next Gen member of the United Performing Arts Center, and served as Annual Campaign co-chair for Sharp Literacy.  Today, he proudly serves on the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer's Association of Wisconsin.

Chad, his wife, and their four sons live in Shorewood with their two dogs, Marvin and Nice Guy Eddie.
